There is an art to counseling which encompasses multiple factors, many of these factors can be seen in other contemporary forms of therapy. Adler, however, intentionally highlighted the significance of forming and utilizing an egalitarian relationship to encourage change, while also examining the client's lifestyle, to help create insight for the client who wishes to reorient toward a increased social engagement in order to overcome persistent challenges.
